So my little Lily aged 4.5 was in her first Ballet Concert yesterday and danced/ stomped her way through a dress rehearsal and 3 performances in one very hot 33 °C day [tutu much?]
Though she was in sweltering brown fluffy polyester teddybear pants and hot pink spangly singlet [for a version of a magical toyshop] here’s my tribute to a little Ballet. It’s my favourite take on pink.
A fine tea for tutu.
Settle petal.

What do you think of pink? Amazing how many little girls naturally love it.
My mother-in-law has a full set of bone china, completely in pale pink with gold line decoration along the rims. Every single family and holiday meal is served on these pieces. Not sure of the maker, but I would assume c.1960s English fine china. Amazingly, the pieces work and look fabulous. Who can believe it? It’s pink.
Hi Patricia, thanks for taking the time to comment. It’s funny, I have a bit of conflict with this pinky stuff. I love it and appreciate it, for its softness and sweetness, especially since having a baby girl [and if I wanted to get really flippy,I’d say its the Libran airy side creeping out as I get older] but I don’t really want to use it in everyday life, if I had a rustic getaway though it would be full of my other more girly bits that don’t get a run in our modern house. Sigh, one day : ]
