Happy St Patrick’s Day from a not so angry bird.
Recently informed my surname [Cash] is an Irish gyspie name.
The penny, as the cliché goes… dropped.
My love of travel, a fascination with fossicking, luckily I’m not into child theft [more clichés] just coveting children’s toys…

Feeling quite fortunate myself, picked up this watch recently in the 50c basket at the Red Cross. Grand.
Needs a new battery, that’s all. If not, no great loss. I’ll probably wear it anyway.
Nixon is another family name, and ’tis the Emerald Green Pantone colour of the year. Or close enough.
And lastly some little gems of wisdom from the Emerald Isle and Huffington Post
If you’re lucky enough to be Irish, then you’re lucky enough.
to be sure, to be sure…and i can be sure because i’m of irish descent meself. happy st pad’s day to yer! edwina – pantone 17-5641 rules!
Hey Edwina, and look, you’ve even got a green shirt on. Good lass. Hope you had a fun day. I’m coming around to green, I wore it to high school so have had a major repulsion of all things bottle & heritage green [except trees of course] for a long time. But this jadey emerald colour is growing on me… Happy St Pad’s to yer too. PS How did you go with the bakelite?
well, yes, high school can colour (so to speak) your appreciation of green…but it’s always been my favourite. not just due to irish descent. but i do love a guiness. and thanks, the green bakelite is coming up a treat. i will post as soon as it’s post-worthy.
Well I guess in your field you can’t afford to NOT like greenery… Cheers
That watch is fab! Green is my fave color and emerald is my birthstone…so I guess am feeling very “in” right about now. 🙂
You are so before trend Jocelyn! Thanks for stopping by 🙂
