So much to say but just want to fall back into these pictures and sit quietly.
Have never understood how a downer came to be the blues.
Unless of course, you are leaving…
Lucky I had this to come home to. Sydney, you’re alright…

Grazie lovely. See how European I have become. Though I am too lazy to look up lovely in Italian… Bella? x
Gorgeous photos! and i love your bag tag. 🙂
Sandy, this series of photos really takes me away. My grandparents would visit Taormina and other areas of Italy/Sicily regularly when I was young. (Don’t let my surname fool you – Italian blood does flow through my veins! Lol). I totally agree w/you about how “blue” always has had a sad association; maybe we should blame jazz musicians or even Picasso!? A very lovely post! Enjoyable!!
Thanks Patricia. Your lucky Gramps! Such a stunning place, Taormina especially. There is something about that Mediterranean blue sky, water and smudgey horizon. We get blue skies and amazing water here in Australia but not that colour. Took me away too…
